Experience Holland & Steele
Progressive folk rock featuring the creative genius of Danny Holland & the bagpipes of Barry Steele together with friends old and new

Holland & Steele: The Story
Born in the pandemic of 2020/21, guitarist Danny Holland and piper Barry Steele present this collaboration of instrumental folk rock. Working late into the night in their respective "studios" (arousing much partner related suspicion), reveling in beer fueled inspiration, swapping files back and forward and generally giggling at lot resulted in this, the first Holland & Steele offering. Featuring guest appearances from "The Lonely Mr Punch" bunch are Lee Sinclair on squeezy boxes and Ferny Beall on bits-o-bass. Live, (but entirely socially distanced) drums were provided by Barry's old Something Nasty in the Woodshed running mate, Mark Croft whose teeth grinding was removed from the tracks via powerful editing software. So was Danny's more colorful "creative direction". We hope you enjoy this collation of musical jottings. Finally Barry finds suggestions that bagpipes should have been socially distanced sometime in the 18th century very hurtful.
